Bognor Regis is at the heart of the Sussex coastline with superb beaches and record hours of sunshine to enjoy as well as the town’s great heritage, all within easy reach of the seafront.
It is the perfect base from which to explore the Southdowns, Chichester and Arundel to the north, the villages of Felpham, Middleton and Elmer to the East with Littlehampton a short trip further along the coast and to the west are the villages of Aldwick, Pagham and Selsey with Emsworth and Portsmouth, one of the UK’s main naval ports to the west.
Traveling by Car
If you use a satellite navigation system, the postcode you will need to enter is PO21 for Bognor Regis.
If travelling from London there are a number of routes, which will take you through the wonderful Sussex countryside. The main routes include the A29, the A24 where at Findon you join the A280 and take in the wonderful views of the coast as you cut across the downs, joining either the A27 or A259 towards Bognor Regis.
The M23 provides a fast route from London and Gatwick to Hand Cross where you can again travel west to the join the A24.
Travelling from either the east or west the A27 runs parallel with the coastline with the link via the A259 to Bognor Regis.

Travelling by Train
The rail services to Bognor Regis are run by Southern Rail. There are direct services from London, which take in the wonderful Arun valley line. Southern also operates the services from across the South of England with easy access from Brighton and Worthing in the East and Portsmouth and Southampton to the West.
Bognor Regis station is located at the top on London Road the main shopping precinct, with the seafront, pier and attractions just a 5 to10-minute walk.

Travelling by Bus
The main bus service provider on the South coast is Stagecoach, which operates many local bus services along the Sussex coastline including the Coastliner 700 service. The Coastliner 700 runs a regularly service between Portsmouth and Brighton stopping every half hour or so during the day at Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Chichester, (with connections to Arundel) and Worthing. The Coastliner 700 service is a great way to get around and explore the towns and villages along the Sussex coast.

Parking
There are several car parks to choose from around Bognor Regis, all of which have very reasonable rates and are within easy walking distance of the seafront. Pay and display parking is also available on the Promenade. The Arun District Council website provides information on the towns car parks and charges.
